A deposit
of $200 will confirm your booking. The balance plus a $300 bond
is due 4 weeks prior to your holiday.

Should you
cancel your booking, a cancellation fee of $20 will apply. In
addition, the refund of your booking deposit and or hire charge, will
be subject to Houseboat Holidays successfully re-hiring the boat.

All
bookings commence at 2pm unless otherwise arranged. The hirer is
requested to contact Houseboat Holidays the day before booking
commencement to confirm time of arrival.

Boat
familiarisation takes approximately 1 hour and will commence on
arrival of all parties for the booking.

On day of
return, houseboats are to be in at base by 9.30am and vacated by
10.00am. The houseboat must be returned in a clean condition or
extra cleaning will be charged.

The hirer
is responsible for the craft under hire and must hold a current car
driver's licence and agree to observe all Department of Planning and
Infrastructure Marine Transport regulations.

Number of
people, including children, must not exceed the number of berths.

The hirer
pays for fuel used. Fuel consumption is 16 litres per hour.
Tanks are full at commencement. Bond is refunded within 10
working days less fuel and/or any loss of equipment or damage.

Houseboat
Holidays will not be obligated to compensate the hirer for loss of
time due to mechanical problems during hire.

No
pets, firearms or axes allowed.

If an
accident is caused while under the influence of alcohol, or when craft
is driven by a minor, damage will be repaired at hirer's expense.
